We use Wyssen skyline cranes purpose built for generating access up to 2 km distance from the forest road, on the most difficult and isolated forest stands, on mountain and hilly terrain.
Our Wyssen equipment is suitable for collecting the wood uphill or downhill, with a transporting capacity of 4 tons/load.
Due to the modern technology employed (radio-controlled Wyssen carriages), the work safety as well as productivity are much higher compared to the old/traditional equipment to be still found in some forests.
In the road landing, we use a Ponsse forwarder, one of the best solutions for properly and safely handling of large volumes o0f wood that cable cranes bring on each day of work.
With the combination skyline crane&forwarder, we ensure that the wood that reaches the landing area is clean (in this way we do a quality service to the sawmills), and the forest road is kept in best shape.
We also protect the water flows, taking care that the wood is not dragged through and stored in the mountain/hilly creeks.
